Returns & Refunds If something is not right, House of Dona will make it right. Here is exactly how. Return window You can request a return within 72 hours of delivery. After 72 hours, we are generally unable to accept a return, except where the product is defective and covered below. What can be returned To be eligible, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned with all original packaging, tags and accessories. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that have been used, washed, or damaged after delivery, unless the item was defective when it arrived. Damaged, defective or wrong item If your order arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, reach out to our support team within 72 hours of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping you paid. You will not be charged return shipping in these cases. Please do not discard the packaging until the issue is resolved—the courier often requires it for a damage claim. How to start a return Reach out to our support team within 72 hours of delivery with your order number and the reason for the return. We will confirm whether the item is eligible and arrange a pickup where the service is available, or share a return address if it is not. Please do not ship anything back before we confirm—unannounced returns are hard to trace to your order and can delay your refund. Refunds Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we approve the refund. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method for prepaid orders, and to a bank account you provide for COD orders. Refunds usually reach you within 5–7 working days of approval. The exact timing depends on your bank or payment provider, which is outside our control. Shipping charges already paid are non-refundable, except where the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item. Cancellations You can cancel an order any time before it is dispatched, at no cost. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, but you can refuse delivery or start a return once it arrives. Exchanges We do not process direct exchanges. If you want a different item or variant, please return the original for a refund and place a new order—this is faster than an exchange in almost every case.
